Best cafe I was in !A few steps from our hotel,The Grand Cafe Orient at the Black Madonna House,on the first floor accessed by lift if you must.

We spent one evening here listening to great jazz, the flyer describes the club as"a very unique location situated in a historical subterranean vault built in the xv.century"!We sat upstairs on what seemed like scaffolding holding up our floor,it was dark and full of atmosphere, drinks were very cheap and table service too, whats not to like!

Lovely cafe at the end of our walk over Charles Bridge towards Lesser Town, sheepskin rugs over the chairs to keep customers warm, plenty of overhead gas heaters,a great photo stop, but a little on the expensive side for our coffees and apple tarts with ice cream!

Sitting having coffee my favourite passtime in Prague or anywhere!
